Hiring separate companies for permits, utilities, asbestos, demolition and hauling means you become the project manager, and every gap between them becomes your problem. We're a licensed Florida general contractor (CGC1541479), so we run the whole job. Where state law requires a specialty license, like asbestos surveys and abatement, we hire a licensed specialist as our subcontractor. You still sign one contract, and we stay responsible for their work.
Who handles what
Every part of the job, under one contract
| Item | Who does it | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Demolition permit and inspections | We do, as the licensed general contractor on the permit. | The permit pulled in our name, every inspection scheduled, and the permit closed out at the end. |
| Utility disconnects, sewer cap and septic | We request the disconnects from each utility and handle the sewer cap or septic tank abandonment. | The disconnect letters the building department needs, and the sewer or septic work permitted and inspected with the rest of the job. |
| Asbestos survey | A state-licensed asbestos consultant we hire and manage. | The survey, plus the notice filed on time when one is required. |
| Asbestos abatement | A state-licensed abatement contractor working as our subcontractor. | Regulated material removed properly before demolition, without you hiring or coordinating anyone. |
| Demolition | Our crews, with dust control and protection for neighboring property. | The structure, slab and foundation removed as written in the scope. |
| Hauling and disposal | We haul everything to licensed construction and demolition facilities. | Disposal and recycling tickets, so you can see where the debris went. |
| Site restoration | We do. | Holes filled, the lot compacted and rough graded, ready for your builder. Interior jobs are left broom-clean. |
In writing
What every written proposal spells out
The full scope
Exactly what comes down and comes out, including the slab, foundation, driveway, pool and septic when they apply, and what stays.
Clear exclusions
Anything not included is named, so there are no surprises later.
Allowances for unknowns
Where it makes sense, the proposal carries an allowance for conditions nobody can see until work starts.
Permits and responsibility
We pull the permit, and the proposal says so.
Schedule
The expected permit timeline, start date and days on site.
Condition at handoff
What the site looks like when we leave: graded and compacted, or broom-clean for interiors.
Surprises
When we find something nobody expected
We stop and show you
A buried tank, hidden asbestos or a second slab under the first one. We stop work in that area and send you photos.
You get a price in writing
If the find is covered by an allowance in the proposal, we use it. If it goes beyond that, we write a change order with the price.
Nothing extra without your approval
We only do the extra work after you approve it in writing.
Insurance
The coverage behind every job
We carry
- General liability, with you or your GC named as additional insured on request
- Workers' compensation for our crews
- Commercial auto for our trucks and equipment
- A certificate of insurance sent to you before we mobilize

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Does Rosemont Ventures Group handle the whole demolition under one contract?
Yes. One contract covers the permit and inspections, utility disconnects with the sewer cap or septic abandonment, the asbestos survey and any abatement, the demolition, hauling and disposal, site restoration and closing out the permit.
Do you handle asbestos abatement?
Yes, under our contract. Florida requires licensed specialists for asbestos surveys and abatement, so we hire a state-licensed asbestos consultant and a licensed abatement contractor as our subcontractors. You don't hire or coordinate them, and we're responsible for the work.
Who disconnects the utilities?
We request the disconnects from each utility, get the letters the building department needs, and handle the sewer cap or septic tank abandonment as part of the job.
Is debris disposal included, and can I see where it went?
Yes. Hauling and disposal at licensed construction and demolition facilities are included, and we provide disposal and recycling tickets.
Do you restore the site after demolition?
Yes. We fill holes, compact and rough grade the lot so it's ready for your builder. Interior demolition is left broom-clean.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
We stop work in that area, send you photos and give you a written price. Where the proposal includes an allowance for unknowns we use it, and anything beyond it is a written change order. No extra work happens without your written approval.
What insurance do you carry?
General liability, workers' compensation and commercial auto. We send a certificate of insurance before we mobilize and can name you or your general contractor as additional insured on request.
The exact scope, exclusions, allowances and schedule for your project are set out in your written proposal.
